Anyone who complains that the meat in Taco Bell tacos isn’t 100% beef might be a terrible cook. One generally add stuff to meat before cooking it. Sure, there might be a few mass consumption additives in there, but nothing that makes Taco Bell worse than any other chain you’ve mentioned.

Props to marketing! Sounds like someone got to have a fun couple of hours at work!

Or he’s being intelligent and recognizing that an exotic comes with a higher cost of ownership, unlike people who buy them with a windfall and then can’t afford the upkeep.

I’d say you may be making the exact opposite point. The Veloster and the SC2 (and all the old minivans) may not play up the aesthetic details of asymmetry – which seems to be where most experiments have existed on standard cars – but their third doors perfectly fit the significant left/right difference that Torch is

Loved the movie, though I’m concerned it will feel a little bit disjointed in a re-watch – a collection of scenes rather than a flowing narrative. Still, I look forward to finding out.

In LA most light controlled roads tend to be at least two lanes each way. In Boston there are many smaller roads. Consequently, even if both cars go immediately, the turner will probably still clear the intersection, as they only have one lane to cross.

The Boston Left is a bit more specific. Once the light turns green, the first car going left can sneak through before all the traffic starts going straight. I live in LA now, and I miss it. As long as no one is trying to drag race off the line, the timing actually works out well; no one is inconvenienced.

Is anyone making cars with brisket engines, for those among us who might have reason to avoid pork. (I mean, not me, I’ll take a car with an LSBacon anytime, but I’ve heard some people don’t... eat... pork. O.o)

A few armchair quarterback thoughts:

Too few Rs.

Agreed, it’s not. Just curious about internet etymology. Thanks.

What’s the advantage of it over simply using “EDIT:” given that “ETA” has another meaning?

AH! OK. A bit confusing, but thanks for clarifying.

ETA? Estimated Time of Arrival?
