Queen Elizabeth is WWII VETERAN — she didn’t have to serve, but did. Prince Philip is a WW II combat veteran who is a legit war hero. Her uncle, the Duke of Kent, died in combat. Her father and mother, the King and Queen, refused to leave the UK when they should have, and were beacons of hope for many Bris.

She actually works as a security officer for the complex on her day off, so she was “officially” asking him, but that doesn’t make this better. It makes it worse in some ways.

I read this book straight through the morning it came out, ate dinner, then read it again. It is the best fiction book I’ve read in the last 10 years or so, and I really wish Teenaged AngelSucked had this to read back in the early 90s.
