100% agreed — figuring skating, ice dancing, ski jumping. Skating has judges as corrupt as boxing’s, which is why I never watch it anymore, and I used to love it. I quit watchng “women’s” gymnastics years ago, because of how obvious itw as the GIRLS were brutalized, and the judging was sketchy.

I alos think you are understating the effects of the original. My very homophobic grandmother turned much, much less so after watching the original Queer Eye and Ellen’s talk show. Which helped me come out to her.
