Also, if you’re the one crashing at your friend’s place:
Take the friend/significant other/family out for a nice dinner on the last night of your stay. Or provide the alcohol for the duration of your stay.
Clean up after yourself. Make the guest bed, or fold/store the blankets upon waking up from the couch.
Offer to…
I just walked around with straight arms for two minutes and wanted to kill myself.
I had to drive home through 3 towns doing trick or treating after sunset last night. Far more nerve-racking than driving home during an ice storm.
You need something like this. Easier to clean then scissors or the inefficient wheel cutter
You people are incompetent. What you NEED is a decently hard wooden pizza paddle, and then you don’t even have to worry about the sharpness of the roller. And if you don’t want the paddle, just get a good wooden cutting board, it’s not that hard and OH MY GOD IT’S LIKE TALKING TO MY GIRLFRIEND WHEN WE MAKE PIZZA AT…
A few rules for allowing someone to crash or to crash on a friends couch.
Global Entry is where it is at. It includes TSA Pre-Check and when you come back to the US from abroad you just breeze through the machine, while the rest stand in line like it’s Ellis Island.
My wife cuts pizza with scissors.
It doesn’t just show you a crying face emoji? Must be a glitch with Google.
Yeah I dont get why one person cant say “ah we are replaying this game, lets scrap the score from the ticker” it cant be much more difficult than that
Ah a nice long read to kill the last hour at the office. Thanks!
Watching Sabres-Sens replay on the NHL network last night and 15 minutes in they showed the 3-2 OT final on the crawl. Thanks...
I assume you’re talking about the first down/field goal range/etc lines? They make a 3D model of the field before the game and use sensors to track the cameras’ positions to keep the line “glued” to the right spot. I could go on but you’d be better served reading this: http://www.si.com/nfl/2013/07/18/nfl-birth-yellow-…
You’ve made the only logical choice.
My wife mocked the quad box last weekend. “It’s just four boxes it’s not that cool!” Divorced her immediately.
Same. God forbid the players have 3 seconds of creativity and individuality during the game.
I watch a fair amount of soccer, almost always taped since I work, but goddamn is it hard not to be spoiled on game results. Between Screamer headlines on the DS page, ESPN’s ticker, and what you said, I end up knowing the results of games about 50% of the time before I have a chance to watch them. Stupid Europe.…
I miss Emmitt, Robert Evans, Nazi Bill Simmons, and Rolf, but goddamn if Tomsula and the Schilling memes are not the best of them all.
I was watchin a replay of Arsenal game a couple weeks ago and it was only like 2 hours after it was on live. Sportsnet (rogers sportsnet in canada) showed the final score on the bottom ticker 5 minutes into the game! Do they not understand how live sports work? They are the ones airing it!
