Agreed about Cat Grant, but also Lois - at least when she was first shown on the show and not during Superman & Lois which is definitely set after the events of Supergirl - is much younger than Cat, isn’t she? 

I’m trying to remember if those episodes where Kara “had to” wear the head-to-toe suit when Melissa Benoist was again unavailable for something, but I guess those had Kara doing the Iron-Man suit from the inside thing, so yeah, this might be the first time she was 100% away.

Agreed, I think there is at least a decade between the events of Supergirl and Superman which maybe they could explain with how Supergirl ends this year.

Yeah, it’s been like a rehash of the Nanda Parbat storyline from Arrow which hadn’t worked that well to begin with. Safiyah was promising but got really annoying real fast. Fingers crossed they are moving on from that.
