My kids.
Cool story bro
What these guys said. My music is important to me, as are my books and films. I want to own it, not license it from a company that may cease to exist one day, and only when an Internet connection is available (other customers of Time Warner Cable will understand). A good-quality MP3 is small, reliable, and mine.
I rarely ever use Spotify, and I haven't used Pandora in years. 99% of my music is still bought and put into a good old-fashioned music player in MP3 format.
Dear Lifehacker,
I'm going to be traveling soon and I need to take my laptop with me. How can I make sure it's as…
"the general consensus is that it's powerful, even if it's a pain to use and its interface is frequently frustrating."
So inundate those nosy bastards with millions upon millions of stupid texts that they have to spend time and effort decrypting. Let them drown in a see of garbage data for being the colossal pricks that they are. People should start encrypting everything so the collection of the data becomes so useless that they'll…
It doesn't do SYNCING... but it does handle Ipods etc...
IMHO, syncing is overrated. Is easier to edit ID3 tags and drag them onto your SD card's Music folder. Unless you're using an iPhone, then youre fucked.
I like the idea of people taking this advice too literally. I'm going to be saying "Chicago really is the windy city!" everywhere I go from now on.
Chrome apps are appalling. Nobody remembers the browser wars?
I snicker every time i see it. Vim ftw :)
But still about 20-30 years behind Vim or Emacs in usefulness. Be a real man.
Cygwin?
Ya, buying Apple products. Sure they work, but at twice to three times the price of their competitors that have equivalent products. $700 for an iPhone, really? I can buy a kickass laptop or desktop for that kind of scratch and not have to pay extortionist service fees.
Wow. I completed all of these tasks from my bedroom in the last 36 hrs. Now I just need a #LifeHack to help me overcome the paralyzing anxiety I experience whenever I try to leave my room. I also need tips on how to better type with long, curved fingernails & what to do with these jars of urine.
You seem to live in a civilized world wher the banks care about protecting your money. Here in the USA the banks only care about THEIR money and could not care any less about others money. we still use the easily copied mag stripe, almost no bank cards have a chip in them.
Ooo. Let's play this game. Buy an abacus instead of a computer so you don't have to worry about tabs at all. Hurp durp.
Can't believe this hasn't been mentioned yet: Vimperator obsoletes all of the above.
