It took me about six episodes to figure out the "crew" is the Scooby gang (kept thinking: what are they going for with Elliot? Lightbulb: Fred!). And this is exactly how I would imagine a real life gang of meddling kids would end up. Only this is a reverse-Scooby Doo episode—the kids see monsters where there are none,

Or, if the pregnancy was introduced at the end of Spring (ep. 2). Then there's 2 episodes for resolution. There's enough fluff that could have been cut to make room for this storyline.

Rachel Ray - ugh!

Break the cycle—why did it have to be repeat the cycle rather than break the cycle? Lorelai broke the mother/daughter estrangement cycle with Rory. Does this mean that Rory's continuation of the cycle will include mother/child estrangement with her own child?

I figure a lot of that had to do with the availability of the actors. We know that Melissa McCarthy was only on set for one day. Liza Weil and Milo Ventimiglia have series in production—this is probably why we don't have more of both of them, too.

It was a fun way to show that Paris got to have her dream career — god (or at least the power over life) :-). However, I think that this is one example of many where some story editing would have allowed time for other more compelling stories.

And she was at peak performance during her school years. This is the arena where she can be a superstar. It would make more sense to me that Rory is a perpetual grad student, accumulating degrees and doing nothing with them than being the person who rejects grad school.

I think get a Master's degree, teach at Chilton, and write sounds like a damn solid plan.

I think ASP was WAY too invested in the myth of the final four words. Does this end serve the story as it is today? I'm not convinced. I don't hate it, but it feels disjointed to me.

I wondered about the minimal time given Miss Patty. When we first see Miss Patty at a distance, I don't think that is Liz Torres. When we finally get up close with Miss Patty, she's behind a table. Ms. Torres has lost a lot of weight, but I can't imagine that would be the reason to basically "hide" her.

My thoughts exactly—"love me some Sutton Foster, but…"

Had the same thought—no way that Richard didn't have the best estate planning set up ever. If there was a trust fund for the Luke's Diner franchise, then there was definitely a trust for Rory and Lorelai, and probably an additional fund for any future grandchildren. And of course, there's rich dad Christopher. The
