AOC has really impressed me. It’s not that I was skeptical, but having dipped a foot into the political world I knew a lot of otherwise well-meaning politicians were, for lack of a better word, a bit vapid. She’s showed a lot of depth and strength and I really respect that. I think there’s more young Democrats in the

Scorpio is the best, but too big a role.

That’s a 100% increase in arrows. That’s huge, whereas a level 9 spell is only a 12.5% increase from level 8.

you can tell when a Republican is scared, because it is the first and only time they start whining about decorum.

I believe you’re thinking of Portrait of Ruin. Order of Ecclesia had a sort of CV3 world map with individual levels you’d visit. There were also these people scattered throughout the levels you could rescue who would repopulate their village and set up shops, give you side quests, etc.

I’m assuming that these enemies came about as the result of the “Unleash the hounds of hell” backer tiers, where the devs would turn a pet (or animal of your choice) into an in-game enemy.

I am scared of a culture that can argue semantics over interment camp, vs concentration camp, vs death camp. There should have been something done long before that point.

I think SotN was pretty much the easiest of the Castlevanias as IGA and the team were less careful with item design and stat inflation. It started at a good difficulty but became fairly easy with time, even when never grinding for levels or drops.

Listen. When in doubt, I defer to the people who know. I know Liz Cheney doesn’t - but I wouldn’t give a damn what she did if she weren’t in Congress and therefore able to influence the outcome concerning what happens to those children.

If anything an accessible difficulty almost sound like a plus for me after so long away from the genre.

Separating kids from families? Cool.

You know shit’s bad when the guy who came up with Godwin’s Law has to shut down MSNBC’s Chris Hayes for trying to inappropriately use it in this context.

Oh, so you haven’t played “Order of Ecclesia”, yet? Because that game is hard as nails. Aaaaand, It’s also the best "Castlevania"-game of all time.

Its not early game easy. The first boss gave me a game over. I’ve had 2 other game overs since. And I’m further than the kotaku poster in 3.5 hours, given his count of bosses. I’ve been gaming since 86 and have played all of the SOTN and post SOTN 2D castlevanias. Its much more forgiving than Dark Souls, I’ll give it

And even some of the quite excellent DS Castlevanias were on the easy side, and perfectly OK to be.

Circle of the Moon was *very* difficult.

Am I the only one who scrolls past his tweets? I really can’t bear to punish myself by reading them.

Same thing happens in programming.  “Wow, who put in this garbage?  Oh, it was me three years ago.”

I worked as an animator on an MMO for 5 years. At a animation meeting we were playtesting a new feature and we went to the NPC to get the quest who is playing one of the several library animations we’ve made. I said “Wow, who did that animation for this guy it looks awful, I’m going to have to fix it. Can’t believe
