This is top of the line stuff. Thanks! I’ve been nervous with the Univision take over.

My father in law did this to me, and when I pushed back on it, he explained that his own dear mother (who was a peasant in the Italian countryside) had had all five of her children in the kitchen of their house without an epidural, and she loved her children very much. So I shouldn’t have an epidural because that’s

I think you’re right!

So no one had a crush on their awesome nerd teacher?

Wasn’t good in our case. For about a year he has been a “no-fapper” which has led to a reduction of porn use, and things in our sex life are much better.

Some of the comments on here justifying Lochte have been insane. Between the apologists for Lochte and the apologists for Parker it felt like an alternate universe.

It is true that buying the album only to smash it still results in profit, but the Dixie Chicks always seemed to me to be the kinds of artists and people that would really hurt, even if they got the money, and I think people knew that about them and wanted to send a message.

I won’t f*** off. I’m sorry, political disagreement is deeply personal and leads people to say unjust (and wrong things), or even just to become impassioned about what they say...but even from the angriest, ugliest, stupidest or most belittling interlocutor, I have not seen what I would call abuse. Political dialogue

I’d add especially *poor* brown people are feared. I’ve got a friend who is from a moderately wealthy family in Pakistan and they immigrated legally and he can’t stop talking and giving papers about how only educated immigrants should be let in to the country. It drives me up the wall.

You mean you face disagreement? I don’t think you know what abuse means. I know political dialogue can be acerbic and exhausting, but don’t overuse the word abuse when so many of us actually face it.

Perhaps we should comment on something I notice about you in this thread - your utter lack of social skills. Geeze...people notice things all the time it doesn’t mean you open your mouth and spill it. I could be wrong, but it seems to be a little tone deaf to be “offended” at people who get “offended” too easily.

I’m afraid not much can be done to fix her horse-face; perhaps she should spend more time considering that intractable problem than showing concern for other people’s obesity.
