I think Hitler was the Wesen and the people being oppressed were the non german regular humans. Seemed like a one liner that is ok as long as you don't overthink it.

I could not disagree more. Last season where all we did was listen to Julia talk about her feelings all season was crap. The show needs to have an arc but when it gets lost in it's arc it is a boring mess.
