First, she’s an old lady and I give her a break, especially in an informal setting.

if we had communism we’d all have dual cluch Ladas with V10s.

Fairly certain all Focii prior to 2012 had old school slushbox automatics. Not sure how your could have driven one with a wet clutch.

WHY IN THE F DO YOU BUY A MINT VEHICLE FOR WINTER!?!?!?!

I think Mr. Barnum was on the low end of his estimate.

I have.  CVTs are smooth, but the Ford jerked and grabbed harder than a 13 yo boy.  The differences between any CVT and any DCT I’ve driven are immediately obvious.

You couldn’t tell the difference between a DCT and a CVT?  Have you actually driven a CVT?  It’s basically the exact opposite of a DCT.

It’s funny to think people believe they need 140 horsepower when you only need about 25-40 to cruise at highway speeds. It’s funny to think people believe they need speed.

Had an 89 B2 in XLT trim many years ago. Exterior was red and white two tone, and interior was red velour, with red everything (setas, carpet, headlier, dash, every-damn-thing). That red interior earned it the nickname “The Bordello Bronco”.

Uh...that blue car in the corner... He must be a fan of a certain, ahem, film genre.  Or I guess people that play jokes on others?

United is Florida.

No, United and Spirit are much more Florida than American.

I would prefer they keep the materials a little cheaper so it DOES NOT cost $200k.

Not much different in the German showrooms, either. Orange peel is practically an OEM industry standard in the under 6-figure range. Quality doesn’t mean paint anymore, apparently. What it does mean, I guess, is just a name.

I’m pretty sure I could nitpick those apart. Nothing is original, everything is derivative.

Really?  You can tell all of that in a blurry shitty image from a cell phone camera?  Man, you are absolutely incredible!

Yesssss. Another article where a bunch of people angry that they’ll never be able to afford a Corvette tell us all the faults of the new Corvette before it’s actually released!

It’s going to be great.  Not many of us will be able to afford it but I can’t REALLY afford a c7 either.  Cool car, looks great.  Will be fast as well.

Guess Tesla is the Flavor of the week. We’ll probably see articles hating on Toyota grills next week. It seems to go in cycles.

I think there is time yet for a dedicated article!
