So catchy, so utterly tone-deaf. This is going to be the summer soundtrack for the smuggest people you know.

I don’t know much about her, and the whole “ball” thing is ick but if I were outed and lambasted for every stupid thing I did as a 19yr old... well....  Also  as a 19yr old student still very much under the parentals thumb, I pretty much did what I was told to do, so...

Look, if we start doing “Famous person took part in institution that turned out to be hella racist” takes we’re going to be here forever because, spoiler alert, most white institutions in America are hella racist.

three former Veritas telling the Times (in the paper’s words) the former spy was “chafing at what he viewed as Mr. O’Keefe’s desire to produce quick media content rather than to run long-term infiltration operations.”

WEST WING. Every time I watch and rewatch this series, I get mad because I so wish I could have the opportunity to work with a group of people so smart, so driven and so basically decent.

Soooo close, but no manual transmission. No dice.

An infamous story of my love of butter: I’m between 1-2 and down for a nap. Mom takes a catnap too. When she awakens, she finds me asleep on the floor half-inside the fridge clutching a still-wrapped stick of butter inside a slice of bread, half-eaten.

Arteries, who really needs them fully open anyway?! I don’t!

+1 on the steak

A peanut butter sandwich. Don’t go yuck until you’ve tried it.

And I would want to do this, why??? I’d rather make my Chromebook into a Windows machine.

A lot of their customers are corporations, whose employees often primarily use them like desktops, with monitors and external input devices. I work for such a corporation and use my work issued MacBook Pro like that. And yes, I utterly despise the butterfly keyboard, but don’t really have to put up with it for my use

I see what they were going for, though. If they could pull off thinner keyboards, then that’s a win, but also, from my own observations, a shorter “throw’ key is potentially faster, quieter, and ergonomically sound, if the actuation force is kept down. I’m a PC/mechanical keyboard user, and I’ve switched over to a

Getting class certification is the biggest hurdle. It is likely there will be a settlement eventually, but it’s nice to know that the court at least said this can go forward.

You have to look at literally every vehicle on the road that passes by you. Not sure any opinion on a vehicle that isn’t your own is meaningful in 2021.
It breezes by your house once a day and you likely don’t even see it happen. I think it is fine.

Because in the age of twitter we all need to have an opinion about everything and make sure everyone knows it.

Why do people who are not postal workers have strong opinions about postal worker trucks?

Jesus. No, they’re not like fax machines. That there are faster digital ways to do a thing (send somebody money) doesn’t mean the older, pre-existing, analog way of doing the thing is inherently worse.

Unless I’m not fully understanding the problem, there should be plenty of monitors available that can sit pretty much flush with your desk surface. Even if a monitor more in line with what you want doesn’t have an adjustable stand, you can get a mounting stand that would let you set the height and angle to whatever

I did and found that French tanks at the beginning of WWII were actually better than the German´s, that the French put up a memorable defense but lacked coordination. Besides 'stop' is no gear, it would be the brake, leaving only 'reverse' which would not be logical. But I somehow feel you would not be interested.
