You can use the feature described above to prevent auto-correcting. The second field is optional.

Thank you!

The force of drag in a "controlled" emergency landing is your enemy. Assuming you can put it down straight and level, it's the forces that slow down the aircraft that are problematic.

One thing to keep in mind is that while this is not the intended direction of force, the wings are mounted to carry a few times the weight of the airliner vertically and the engines laterally. Since with a properly executed landing like this and Sully's, there wasn't sudden impact and no abrupt stress applied and the

I'm sure a pilot who flies anything larger than a Cessna would be able to contribute more than myself, but I'm thinking no. As opposed to smaller propped planes, the control surfaces of an airliner are influenced by strictly airspeed, not thrust. In any crash landing, the goal is to have the aircraft at it's slowest

@gwlaw99001 Thank you for discrediting fragmentation in your first sentence... and then proving it in your last.

Apple didn't invent the computer. They simply made it mainstream.

Less than 20 minutes from connecting to iTunes to updated phone.

I thought Thunderbolt was an Apple branding of Lightpeak or something of the sort. Ugh. Impossible to keep up these days.

Maybe it's because Google is saving people the hassle of actually going to Iowa?

Much more effective at being useless?

If only it didn't look like it was taken with an iPhone....

Now if it were a Toyota....

You, Sir, deserve your star. I tip my hat to this post.

All pilots know how to navigate and land without ATC. My airport will easily have 10-15 aircraft landing and taking off in a single hour and there is no tower, ATC, anyone (except if you want to ask Hank if the coffee is ready, that information is available).

That was all I got out of it. Buh bye iphone resale value :(

This is a pretty cool optical illusion... Scroll to the top of the page and stare very closely. If you stare at all of the irrelevant clutter long enough, you might actually find a 3 sentence article. Pretty cool, huh?
