It isn’t a cricket bat. A baseball bat isn’t wide. It’s round. It’s got a very, very small contact area. 

I’d be more impressed if he took a 100 MPH fastball from a real pitcher with a bat in his hand and hit a home run. I think that’s MUCH harder than this would be for someone who has skill with swords.

I’m sure Elon Musk is working feverishly to find a way to sue this person. Check Musk’s twitter feed in about 5 minutes. :(

I have a high school friend who is a professional magician. He has shown me and talked to me about some of his tricks that are just as amazing as this. That woman is almost certainly not a shill. The video doesn’t show the setup, but most likely all of the people were strangers to the magician.

And Mike Trout just swings a piece of wood.

I hate this car. I hate the way it looks. I hate that it’s a BMW. I hate that it’s underpowered. I hate that it doesn’t have a manual. And I absolutely HATE the fake vents and scoops. This is a car for poseurs.

I grew up in North Brunswick, NJ. I always knew and ate both Sloppy Joes. We called the triple decker a Jewish Sloppy Joe because we always got them at Kosher or Kosher-style delis. My family is Jewish. I didn’t think the goyim knew about these things!  :-)

There are ALWAYS better options than chain restaurants. At least where I live. My philosophy on national chains is simple. NEVER. Why? There are better options absolutely EVERYWHERE you look.

I’m not quite sure what the point of this is. Are you pointing out what you see as the virtues of sending someone who did terrible things to such an awful place?

There are many investments that you could have made much more money on that took up far less space.

I like the Panemera considerably more, inside and out.

I’m sure it’s a lovely city, but to compare it to NYC just isn’t fair to poor Houston.
