Sorry but you guys are pathetic. The guy said Easter Eggs, not Pokemon, are still undiscovered. If you want to waste parts of your life because a phone game developer told you to, by all means waste away.

Well, be fair. The game has seen literally fifty times as many users as they had planned for. They’re screaming in terror over there, realizing that what they thought was going to be a fun game some kids would play has gone past trendy and straight into ‘cultural icon’.
I think it’s because Pokemon Go has been and still is much more popular than anyone could have predicted and they don’t have enough of them made yet.
Coworker of the cosplayer; I saw the whole thing go down. So perhaps I can clarify a few things I’ve seen brought up in other comments:
NerdRage was the only standout for me. I did resent Oak for telling me I can’t ride bikes through certain buildings, and I love me some Bulbasaur. Can’t wait to start a new adventure with Rowlet.
Duh! I should have picked that up.
It’s not delaying adulthood, it’s redefining adulthood. As in, why should people have to stop having fun with things they enjoy, just because we all grew up, got a job, etc.?
People don’t seem to realize what “spin-off” means these days.
I saw the trailer and immediately thought it was advertising.
That entire trailer made me cringe even back when it was first shown. You’re promising people the moon, guys! Maybe dial it back a bit?
How dare they offer special promotions to their best customers.

My bad, you’re right. JJ Abrams being given a cameo in the video game version of the specific film he directed is totally the same as him saying fuck Lucas.
Agreed, although I think jumping on the bandwagon *is* playing it safe as companies go. I don’t believe the bubble will burst, in the sense that I don’t think companies will blow money on the scale of trying to market 3DTVs. The VR bubble will quietly deflate and expand in R&D, patent filings, programming, etc.,…
Nah. VR is here to stay. It will evolve of course. The space necessary will become less and hardware will become cheaper. It will take more time, but theres a reason all the devs are heading that way. Its here to stay.
You know, everyone said the same thing about Tablets back when the Ipad launched too.
When I worked at Corbis, licensing an image for an email blast would run $200-$300 or so for that usage. But we’d charge 10x that if it were done without permission.
You “designer” is generally a dealership employee who uses a free web tool to create a banner for their website. We live in a world with Google Images; 99% of people have no clue what is/isn’t legal in regard. This is also why artists use watermarks and low-res thumbnails when they can.
He and Brienne don’t have teleportation powers, so they get left behind to the wizards that are Jamie, Arya and the grand teleport wizard Varys.
