Oh, yeah, book Hammond is the defintion of man destroyed by his own hubris.

I really need to re-read Jurassic Park! It’s been a good decade or so...

Isn’t book Generro kinda macho and heroic?

He had the important task of inserting various graphs and fractal charts between scenes where people were being eaten by dinosaurs.

I completely forgot Michonne essentially went through this and came back already before tonight’s episode.

I obviously don’t understand what they’re doing or why, because the reality of how Pokemon go was handled seems to me like one of the biggest missed opportunities I can even think of in gaming. They’re making money even with the shit product, think of a truly good one.

Who said it needed to be free?

I feel like DOFP did well because it was a fairly interesting premise with fairly interesting characters.

You’re talking about a company that sells video game hardware as well as software. And one of (if not the) top selling software on their platforms.

Pokémon Go is about a casual mobile game that gets you out being active and exploring.

I guess you try to adapt a scary MODOK...he might end up a little Zola-esque, though. I’d just as soon do a campy sci-fi MODOK. Give me beekeeper suit AIM and MODOK. Stick it in an Ant-Man movie so no one cares about how goofy it is.

I would still rather have a Rainn Wilson MODOK. Preferably in a movie like Ant-Man so he can be goofy.

I assumed Beth’s actress wanted off the show at the time.

I’m still bitter about the show killing him. It didn’t feel like a necessary step for the story. It felt like the writers going for a cheap emotional grab.

Remember when we were all certain Rick was gonna lose his hand?

He’s not going to directly turn people into zombies. He’s planning to smear rotting zombie guts all over their weapons so anyone who gets hit with them dies from the same infection zombie bites kill you with.

I remember when this game was fairly new and Sega got aggressive with IP locking it so you needed a VPN. If that’s still the case, it may not be import friendly...

I really want to be excited for this based on the first film, but it just looks so damn disappointing and hollow. Like without Del Toro’s involvement they created something they think approximates the look of the first movie, but simultaneously misses the point.

Same, it’s not a unique idea at all. But side by side it’s painfully obvious.

And they could have even looked at these and said “Let’s do characters in the negative space of letters” and come up with an idea that didn’t look like the Sony music posters. It’s a broad enough concept that they could have done these

Counter point: it’s a universe where 3D holograms have scanlines for some reason.
