My FIL was a military, and municipal cop. They get lunch breaks where they are off watch, unless there is a true emergency in their area. They also get coffee breaks as well. He could have been there at those times.

He could have easily asked the officer to provide some identification as a police officer, just in case.

There is just so much to unpack here, and soooo many questions. At the Blue Lives Matter people going to chime in? Since the cop was black, does he qualify for Black Lives Matter? Will both groups be on the same page? Are all cops going to suddenly understand what it’s like to be a black man with a gun drawn on them…

We’re digging trenches in the dirt now just so we can lower the bar on human intelligence.
