The headline says he was subpoenaed? Is that not true? Based on the statement from his rep, that sounds like it’s true. The article never said anything like Edens knew about this or took part in any of it.

4. Anthony Davis the next time he has a 50 point game
Sports betting is driving a lot of the league right now. They need to fix this in-game, not after the game. You shouldn’t be able to get the best player on the other team ejected during a critical moment for something like this, otherwise people will stop betting on these games.
There really weren’t any good teams outside of the Bulls in the mid-90s. The NBA wasn’t televised for most of the ‘50s and ‘60s, so I kinda doubt anyone had those thoughts about the Lakers/Celtics dynasties. You only really read about the NBA in the paper rather than actually watching.
I think the difference is that…
I’m thinking he’ll package them up to send to whoever out of the Giants, Cardinals, Bills, and 49ers has the #1 overall, draft a mid-major QB that Kiper inexplicably falls in love with over the next 2 months who is 6'5" and 230 lbs, can throw the football a mile, but has an awful TD:INT ratio.
They explained why in the article. Both should have been flagged
Rehab and prison reform isn’t just “let everyone out as soon as they hit their first possible parole date” though. You can be in favor of prison reform and still recognize that Carruth clearly isn’t very sorry for what he did and seems to be pretending that he’s the real victim in all this. There doesn’t seem to have…
How many times have position players pitched this postseason?
The strategy has worked fine every game. You can’t expect to shut out an all star lineup like the 2018 LA Dodgers for 4 consecutive games. Even considering that as a possibility is just lunacy.
My only umpiring experience is in bar league softball, but on my self test, I got calls 3 and 4 right in real time. Calls 1 and 2 were tough. Even on the 3rd slo-mo replay angle they were still very close calls.
They’re not really comparable situations. A 50 yard field goal is far from a guarantee. Ryan Succop is a solid kicker, but historically he’s about 50% from 50+ yards. The odds of converting 4th & 2 are a lot different from 4th & 5.
If the Colts punt on their 4th down, it’s improbable that they lose the game barring…
The worst part about this is that this rule seems to be called on only one player in the league. Last week, the Jaguars hit Brady twice on almost exactly the same form tackle as Matthews did to Smith and never got flagged. Two or three plays prior to this, Payne suplexed Rodgers and threw him headfirst into the turf…
I want the video that the kid standing right next to him was taking.
Roquan has done almost nothing in the league so far, so I don’t know why you’re hailing him as a great pick already. Leonard Floyd hasn’t proven he was worth a 1st round selection yet, and Trubisky definitely has not. Most of the other guys on the list are JAG. They’re not players who change an opponent’s game plan.

This is why we need to get rid of football. It makes people deny the reality they see with their own eyes if it means it benefits the home team.
Dumb take. Neither Rodgers nor anyone in the Packers organization lobbied for a change in the rules after he got hurt last year.
Mike Daniels broke though the line and wrapped up Cousins. He thought the play was dead, so he let the QB go.
I’m probably (regrettably) one of the biggest consumers of those barbershop ESPN banter shows, but I do not get why everyone is so fascinated with Le Batard’s show. It’s just a string of nonsensical analogies and random pop culture references. I’ll summarize every episode of the Le Batard Show:
Dan: “[Athlete] needs to…
Doug Pederson looks like his face has been inflated with a bike pump.
I’ve been watching baseball for 25 years, and the Brewers have been absolutely awful for about 22 of them. There’s a “ 2008 NL Wild Card Participant” banner in Miller Park that we definitely don’t get enough shit for. There’s a much greater chance in my lifetime that I’ll witness the MLB fold than the Brewers win a…
