Actually it’s the recycle bin that drives me nuts. LOL

No longhorn hood ornament? GTFO!

has sailed to the popular Russian resort town Sochi

On one hand I laugh at how stupid the names are that manufacturers give to their colors (or shades). On the other, they do try and make more of a creative effort naming their colors than naming their cars.

I finally saw a mach-e in person recently. I thought they were fine in photos, but they sure are ugly looking lumps in metal. Ford might be better off just selling them online using pictures.

They are probably still on their first chauffeur too!

They probably even tried to go with an 11Volt electrical system to avoid Rover electrics. LOL

People have been dreaming of a return to this with skateboard EV platforms. unfortunately, there is a lot more to certifying a car for the road than just the drivetrain these days.

The model was called the Volvo Karl and it came with a single page of assembly instructions with cool stick figure drawings. My dad had one, we still have the extra screw that came with it lying around somewhere...

Wow. That’s like a trillion Rubles.

No idea, but I wouldn’t be surprised if even a Tundra is more efficient that this thing.

Chrysler made air conditioners. They engineered their own advanced technology for the Chrysler building, which was the first air conditioned high rise. Then they commercialized it under the Airtemp brand. 30 years ago my house had a Chrysler furnace that came from the same division. It blew my mind seeing the Chrysler

I recall that. I also recall that those two cars were despicable shitboxes.

Volvo’s used to be assembled (from kits) in Canada. Hyundai used to have a factory here too.

Wife patiently waits for hubby to build dumbass macho-machine. Just before he finishes, she notices gas cresting $5 a gallon (or probably worse in Hawaii)...

For Sale – 10 year old Toyota Beige

I really don’t see the point in these ‘tuner’ brands. AMG, M, Alpina, etc. Even Maybach seems pointless. Why not just incorporate those variations into the core brand as trim levels or options? The extra brands just come off as even more pretentious.

“pressure of meeting numerical targets and adhering to schedules”

Even the rich are tightening their belts and actually have to drive their Bugattis instead of storing them away. Tough times...

I know, eh? I’ve been shoving LS crate motors in like, everything!!!
