I don’t really understand what you’re griping about, it’s pretty obvious that things will change with larger adoption of EVs. I mean look at your example of yuppie high rises with Tesla chargers, that wasn’t nearly as common 5 years ago. So regular apartments will start offering some sort of charging setup for EVs…

Most EVs are super fast off of the line but my turbo’d Subaru feels so much faster cause it’s so tricked out with suspension and hearing the turbo and engine scream just adds to it.

Hyundai, in particular, has enough tech, uniqueness, etc on their own, they don’t need Apple, Apple needs them. Right now, seems like most auto mfgs are flat out with their own unique products and projects and wouldn’t have the resources (currently) to assist.
