This argument sucks, man! George W. Bush isn’t a lost child; he was the president. He saw photos of the torture, from the man who approved of that torture, and then he stood up for that guy. I linked to this in the blog, which I’m now not sure you fully read.

And your results in F1 are?

I disagree about his motivation, Lewis could win under any regs with any decently competitive car. He’s a racer.

They meant $9 total, not per gallon.

Hopefully the kid survives to sue the dumbshits who brought a 2 year old to a baseball game.

You’re pretending like the two genders already exist on a level playing field. In a patriarchal society, that just isn’t true.

Because men are trash.

I see a lot of people being coy with their responses - and they’re good, don’t get me wrong - but I just can’t. Fuck all Boston-based teams with an iron pole, and fuck ‘em forever. Can’t do, won’t do, subtlety for this.

The fucking Bruins have feasted for decades on non-calls, they cheated and coasted on spineless officials, abject hockey and Colin Campbell to a shameful undeserved Stanley Cup in 2011.  That they squawk now about refs swallowing their whistles is such rich schadenfreude for us all.

Bruins fans, the head coach, effing Cam Neely, all sputtering with rage that lax officiating is working against them, that the refs should call every infraction, that the ‘Let Them Play’ ethos boils down to ‘Let Them Cheat’, is some delicious irony.

Considering Boston was only called for one penalty all game, and the refs missed two tripping calls on them in the second period alone, I am not too broken up about them missing this penalty either.

Problem is, regardless of one’s politics, support of a racist leader is, in itself, a deeply racist act. Supporting a literal pathological liar is, in itself, a forfeit of one’s own integrity. And support for using children as pawns of policy...

You cannot support MAGA without being an hateful shithead.

Nah. Silence is complicity when it comes to racist shit.

The comic ending would be a gladiator fight with space aliens on the moon. So whatever they filmed before it wasn’t “like the comics” if it looked like Captain Marvel.

That and the original ending was in the comic.

I’m learning there is always going to be someone like you in the comments.

Er, well, she did go toe-to-toe with Thanos for about a minute, which even the Hulk wasn’t able to do. As I recall, he had to physically power himself up with the Power Stone to take her out.

Thanos headbutted her, and she gave him an irritated look that conveyed “WTF, dude?”  That was pretty nifty.

Imagine the rich and complex inner lives of the kind of people who are still raging about a solid B+ superhero movie 4 months later.
