I don’t watch any of the lower Formula series so I can’t really comment on those, but I’d argue at least four F1 drivers owe not having been seriously injured or killed to the halo:
It’s like, give me a fucking break. I’ve watched my kids sit and do five one-hour episodes in a row. Here’s the big social paradigm shift that has to happen: it’s okay to get up and go pee.
Cowboy Bebop
An idea I’d seen floated was tying XP payouts to medals earned during play and I quite like that idea.
It’d be tedious to set up a scale (i.e. 50xp for a Triple Kill, 5xp for a Back Smack, etc.) but I think it’d be a good solution to the “Challenges incentivizing a lack of PTFO” problem.
Looking at the power/torque figures on the 2.0 EcoBoost...dollars to doughnuts the Maverick’s going to ship with the same engine that’s in the ‘16 Focus ST parked in my garage right now.
Also Sabine was born on Mandalore and Din is a foundling; that could also bear some weight here.
This.
I have YouTube TV so that I can watch the Blues and Formula 1. Outside of the occasional “watch HGTV with the wife” spurt, that’s it. Everything else we watch is some Netflix, Amazon, etc., show.
I’d immediately ditched YTTV and sign up for NHL LIVE if I didn’t live an area that was blacked out.
The big questions I have after this episode:
1. Why was Mando’s bounty presented as “dead or alive” but IG-11's bounty was (seemingly) presented as “dead”?
2. Did The Client know that both Mando and IG-11 had been tasked with finding The Asset? If yes, why the discrepancy between the two bounties? If no, who gave IG-11…
My best guess so far is that he’s tied in to one of the clans shown in Rebels, and that’s why they’re being so secretive about who he is...
That or it’s *really* Boba Fett and this is all smoke-and-mirrors.
You can get a decent and fairly sizable HDTV for around $500 or less
The bureaucracy will stifle any innovation and kill many motivated engineers.
I mean, changing something this fundamental about the chassis means they have to completely change the assembly line. That *can’t* be cheap, and that money has to come from somewhere...
Multiple reasons beyond the “It’s harder to cool something down than it is to keep it at a consistent temperature” that others have outlined. All of these things are sensitive to temperature and humidity changes, with some having more averse reactions than others.
when it’s much more of a hit piece.
Bourdain’s empathy opened up my world.
Holy shit Bungie did everything we asked for.
I’m legitimately beginning to wonder if the hatch has slightly more rear legroom then...
As far as I know, beyond the “there’s a roof over the cargo area” bit there’s no difference in interior size.
Granted, I’ve not been in a sedan. Roughly six months ago when I purchased I test drove an ST and an RS, and I felt the RS wasn’t worth the extra ~ $15k, for what that’s worth.
I daily-drive a Focus ST.
