Oh loosen up, yo.
Oh loosen up, yo.
God I hope so.
God I hope so.
God I hope so.
God I hope so.
Look, we're not animals, and I'm not buying the comparison of yourself to an evolutionarily perfected man-eater.
I'm sorry, but as a student of history I missed the part where the founders of our country envisaged the second amendment as the driving force behind the kind of twisted, gun-obsessed culture that we have ended up with.
You certainly have a right to self defense, and I'm for working towards a future—one so far off that we can't even see yet—where you won't need a gun to be on equal footing with a would be attacker. I live someplace like that now, so it's possible. It would take a lot of effort, no doubt, but I really think we could…

You're right. It wasn't a paradigm shift at all. People have ignored those words for years so it wasn't surprising when they legally stripped them of all meaning.
Yep, and that's a bullshit ruling which alters the meaning of the constitution. But I guess that's in your favor, so it's not so bad, eh?
It doesn't matter how you want to spin it. Gun violence is a major problem in our country to an extent not seen in any other first world nation—by far. There were more gun deaths in my home town last year than the entire country in which I currently live. This is not okay.
Oh, really? Yes, let's stick to antiquated definitions in which case militia means -men only- between the ages of 17 and 45. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Militia_(United_States)
The gun culture -is- crazy. I walk around every day feeling secure in the fact that I'm not surround by people packing, and it's fantastic. Not ever do I feel like I could get shot from crossing some random prick. I can defend myself, if necessary, without guns, and that's empowering.
I did, thanks. It's great living abroad. And, you know, I'll exercise my right to vote and sort you crazies out till maybe I feel good enough to consider coming back. Granted it's not likely, but I'm optimistic.
You show me a "well regulated militia", and I'll show you my support for your "right".
You're a fucking idiot. I'm ashamed to have your kind as compatriots.
I can't tell if you're joking or being serious about the first bit.
Great list. It's nice to read something that's not totally predictable for once.
He may be talented, but I really don't care for the guy. You can trace my increasing dislike of the series along the line of his ascension. Coincidence? Maybe. But every time I see Nomura's name or something he's done the first word that pops into my head is "disappointment".
