Two thoughts:

It Is 2021. Star Citizen Has Raised $400,000,000, And Is Still Not Out.

You’re hired.

I finished the game, but looking back I’m not sure why.  The game did its best to make me hate it.

2 was a miserable slog that eradicated almost any fun in effort to pretend you had malaria. The story was average, the characters wholly forgettable. I know people want to edgelord enough to say it was the best because it was miserable, but it’s just not as fun as other entries.

Primal was awful, a melee combat game

That’s every Far Cry game…scratch that, every Ubisoft game. The amount of busy work left to do is so overwhelming you just want it to end.

I mean, this is a Ubisoft game, after all.

It was counter-productive in Victoria II, to the point where in almost all gameplay situations you were better off abolishing it, and it sounds like that’ll be the case here again as well.

If I had Bezos money, I’d have a soda fountain, specifically Mountain Dew, and a Taco Bell nacho cheese dispenser.

Not just companies, see the commenter above:

I’m still at a loss as to why some companies seem to think and act on the assumption that the average citizen has top-notch internet access. Does everyone, as of 2021, have this?

Game companies spent the last 20 years shoehorning multi-player (and online DRM) into every game they could. They didn't care that we didn't want it then and they aren't going to give up on the potential revenue streams now.

“Always needs an Internet connection” is bad. Terrible. But even setting that aside, the whole “publisher runs the servers” thing bugs the hell out of me. Now, I’m old enough that I’ve done FPS multiplayer via null modem cables and just like, regular modems, so maybe I’m biased. While having “official” servers seems

She was an EP who wasn’t directly/actively involved in those games development, so no, she doesn’t get to claim that she shipped those games. However, I think the statement should be, “Jade hasn’t shipped a game in 14 years, due in part to her moving to upper management for 8 years”

Im from the future...

So, no.

If you count exec prod, looks like about 5-6 years.

Damn you people for making me defend something Trump does or says ... but yeah—cut off Tencent root & branch, and let it die with any luck. So long as the CCP can hijack Chinese companies with impunity to advance its own purposes, those Chinese companies need to be ground into dust on the global market.

Interesting. This is the ONLY one of Dave Chapelle’s shows that I really liked and laughed at... hard. #freeshrugs

You really can’t find anything wrong with what she said? It’s obvious she didn’t mean it the way Razer interpreted it, but she still said what she said. I think it was a huge overreaction from Razer, but I can still understand why they did what they did.
