This is absolutely true! I work in a outdoor store in a Mountain town and people who live here to hike have no problem with the $200 - $250 range or more. Most of these people have multiple pairs as well (ie a multiday shoe and a day hiker). I say people here because I really don't care about hiking lol. Bring me my

Oh that's nothing... We sell sandals with bottle openers on the bottom... I don't know about you, but I really don't want to open a beer with my shoes that walk all over the ground for months...

Too bad there isn't a .zip file with all of these in it, sweet pics though!

This should be part of a 2 step system, if anything... Although, it would really suck to be locked out if you forgot your phone....

Anyone else feeling nice enough to send me an inv?

I don't see numbers here...what were the earnings? Did they lose money? What's their current market share? It's this sort of alarmist crap that reminds me why I haven't read Gizmodo in months. I don't know anyone with a BlackBerry who is at all interested in getting rid of it.

I'm currently using 2.5GB, OS and everything included...and there is a lot installed that I don't need (Ubuntu will do that). I could probably get by under 1 easily, at this rate.

@Arvin Dang: Dogfish Head's 90-minute IPA is way up there, as well as a few locals that are only available in-province as of now.

@LeftClicker: Learning from other writers doesn't have to be following them - but whatever you do will ultimately be informed by what you like and dislike in the writing of others regardless. Being conscious of your influences can make a big difference!

@nefnet13: I think his point was probably more along the lines of...if you had what it takes, you'd be writing, instead of asking about it.

I assumed the bottom one would be the redesigned version...the top one would drive me crazy.

A BMW, and I would keep it clean enough to eat off of.

Environmental Studies. No other class has so thoroughly challenged my thinking about how I should live my life. I have since dedicated my life to helping enact the necessary changes in our society to ensure it persists long into the future.

That is just. Awesome. All the way awesome.

I use a Toshiba NB205 netbook as my primary computer. I went with a netbook for three reasons. 1. It was relatively pretty cheap. 2. Being neither a gamer or a digital artist, it has enough power to do everything I need it to. 3. It's super portable. I went totally digital with my class notes and most of my

I don't tweet myself but I love it as an easy occasional way to keep up with my favorite webcartoonists/sexbloggers/celebrities/politicians. #twitter

@Jagvar: A buddy of mine rented a car in England last year and drove up the M6 to the Yorkshire Dales...and were passed by a Pepto-Bismol pink Ford Escape limo doing about 120mph. The only thing that could've made it more ridiculous is if it were a Hummer. #qotd
