Are Pagán’s allowed to comment on such things?
Hmm, I’m actually surprised to see there are two schools of thought on this. Here’s a nice write up. Alton Brown is a cold water pasta cooker. Seems most fall on the “boil first” method, but cooking from cold water does have some benefits. Risks as well, but that’s true of most things. Learn something new every…
I’ve been in one where someone persisted in using their phone. And they didn’t get to watch the rest of the movie.
Honestly this is the first I’ve heard of stuff like that, for years I’ve heard of the Alamo Drafthouse as being good for 1) actually enforcing the “no phones” rules and kicking people out for being disruptive and 2) the food. So maybe the hype was just inaccurate?
Hey Andrew,
I went to Alamo Drafthouse once (for the first time) last year and I honestly didn’t get the hype. Ordering food while watching a movie is inconvenient. Eating food while watching a movie is ok depending on the movie (this was The Bob’s Burgers Movie, so I don’t think missing a couple minutes of the action was a big…
Sorry I forgot that this is one of these sacred incel things.
It amazes me that anyone still buys this “equal opportunity offenders” bullshit meme.
The beef that crushes man’s skulls like a sparrow’s egg between his thighs?
The sharif may not like it, but I, for one, am ready to rock the Kazbar.
Is $60 brass-cut noodle from a mountaintop nunnery’s underground secret lair better than, like... just making your noodles? You can make noodles!
“When it comes to dried pasta, I normally pick up what I see at the grocery store, and that’s .”
They didn’t have utensils but they had Pepsi?
I was really hoping one of the slides was “There were no utensils in medieval times so there are no utensils at Medieval Times. Would you like a refill on your Pepsi?”
That would have been a pretty good price, given what the prices have been. In normal times, eggs in my area were around $2/dozen. Your deal would have been $2.91/dozen, which is way cheaper than a dozen eggs has been. At the craziest, prices were at $6/dozen, which is bonkers. They’ve come down a bit in the last month…
She still one of my closest friends actually, I officiated her wedding ceremony a few years back.
Is $.50/egg too much? That’s a buck worth of eggs for an omelet, I have no problem paying that.
Note: If you’re allergic to horses or hay do not go to Medieval Times. The only time I was there was on a high school trip, my friend had to sit outside the building alone for the whole time because she’s highly allergic to everything and just walking into the building made her start sneezing uncontrollably.
