“If you read the fine print, most of those cheap knives recommend you sharpen them before use”
I’m in a moderate to low income area.
Cheap or cheapish knives are fine for 90% of people. The main issue, aside from build quality, is that I would argue ALL cheap knives need a good sharpening before you use them out of the box. With a proper sharpener you can turn even a dollar store knife into a razor blade.
I have a very nice about the best you can get Japanese chef’s knife, a middle of the line knife set, and a 6.5" ceramic cleaver.
I have a Henckles classic chef’s knife, 2 of the Victorinox Fibrox and a few other expensive knives. I use the Victorinox daily and almost exclusively. It’s a fantastic knife that is easy to sharpen, stays sharp and is easy to work with. Sometimes you can find it as low as the $20 range. It’s the knife that cured me…
Uncooked hot dogs are great for putting in things, like for Beanie Weenies or with mac & cheese. But yeah, if you’re having a legit hot dog on a bun, don’t eat it cold.
Ah yes, the tiny slice of America that’s completely drug free. Good luck on your search.
To be fair ALL food is GMO all of it. Fruit, veggies and meat have ALL been selectively breed since well the beginning of time and that is geneticaly modifying the end product.
I don’t care about GMOs but it is very processed and they add too much unnecessary iron, sodium, and fat to it, all of which I’m trying to avoid eating too much of. That’s why I still buy Morningstar Farms grillers instead.
Charles Chips FTW. And Pringles rule.
no that’s correct. mainly because nothing we eat on the regular is not a GMO (every crop, and animal farmed since we started farming has been subjected to breeding and domestication which has changed it’s very genetics to produce the best yields.)
Where are Baked Lays? Those are far superior to regular Lays.
and GMOs.
they do claim that the products they use are regular old potatoes and beans, but they have to process the shit out of them to turn them into fake meat.
You are right.
1. As someone who prefers kettle-cooked to plain chips, they are not in the same category.
Lemon-lime soda (and less frequently, Coke)
The first ingredient in Pringles is ‘Dried Potatoes’. How does that disqualify them from being a potato chip?
people love to talk about how indigenous people used every part of the animal and then curse hot dogs in the same breath.
