They should bring back peanuts, there is a vaccine for peanut allergy now. It is on the allergic if they refuse to take it, not us. Besides, I typically take peanuts on planes as a snack, and never once have I seen one of those alleged “if one person eats nuts within a mile of me, I could die” allergies.

The grocery baggers in my town are the worst. They never put the cold stuff together and I always end up with holes pushed into the tops of the yogurt.  I’d rather bag myself. 

I believe it’s because she reported $700 in tips for that pay period, so she is taxed on the total amount (700 + the 150 in hourly pay).  But because the tips are cash that she already received, the paycheck only reflects the balance of the hourly pay.

I’m reminded of an amusing anecdote from an otherwise unremarkable former college acquaintance. Dude was a caddy at some opulent NY country club. He was assigned to a golfer, introduced himself, and the golfer continued to call him “caddy” all day.
