Being OCD, working with raw meat has always been my bane. I always wanted to try using one of these but transferring a raw steak from its original packaging into a vacuumed sealed bag seems like it might be more work than I am willing to do. Anybody know of any brands or stores that sell pre-sealed meat or fish

Oh. Nah, in Texas steak fajitas are default. If you want something else like chicken you have to specify for it or else you gonna get steak. Last time I was in Texas was in 2021 where I was living in San Antonio for the last 10 years.

Usually when you specify that you want chicken instead, you get chicken.

Do what?

You are probably seeing just not by itself. You have a place that serves fajitas? Those strips of pepper in the fajitas, that’s rajas. If you’re talking about the Rajas con crema that is talked about in the bottom of the article, no it’s not a regional thing. If you are not seeing that specific dish, it is most likely

Imagine walking into a restaurant in Texas, asking for fajitas, and then expecting anything else other than steak.

Hot take: Bean burritos, though tasty, are usually pretty boring. Sofritas can be great, but unless the tofu is handled properly, you’ll wind up with a crumbly mess. Instead, consider this: vibrant poblano peppers charred, sliced thin, and simmered in a broth of onions, garlic, and cream. Doesn’t that sound better

No.

“I like the flavors of the warming and burning, coupled with other balanced flavors,” she said. “When I eat spicy food, it is rewarding for me. For others it’s not.”

I assume that anybody that says Hunts is less sweet are a bunch of liars who just looked at the labels and saw that Hunts uses less sugar. Less sugar should be less sweet right? Well not in this case. Hunts is definitely oversweet garbage.

The chief difference between Heinz regular and simply is that simply uses real sugar vs the hfcs in the regular. I was pretty amazed at the difference between the two and now regularly get the Simply brand.

People wasting food pisses me off.

Let me at those penny slots yo. Then let’s hit up the 5 dollar breakfast buffet.

If there are no cars close by, I’ll do this by like a good 20 yards away.

The author replied to me, and turns out that is the correct answer.

The website is mum on what is in it. But based on the other sauces and dips they server, and the idea that they don’t want to replicate something similar, it is possibly cream cheese or french onion based? I would lean more to cream cheese based on the texture.

That would be leagues better than anything mayo based.

I’ve tried to deep fry a few things and it never turns out right. Too soggy, burnt, etc. Also clean up is a pain.

You just took the guesses from bad to worse.

I didn’t even read the article.
