I agree with you. I was suicidal as a teen, and knew other people who were as well. At most, we offered understanding to each other regarding the feelings involved, but I never once knew anyone or heard of anyone encouraging a suicidal friend to act on those horrible feelings.

Maybe they were just trying to give girls a realistic look at what it’s like to be a woman in a STEM field. They did a pretty good job in that regard!
