I only made it through the first quarter of the episode before turning it off. The acting is so over the top bad, that I was thinking they are after a Showgirls things. Maybe it got better, but I cannot see how this garbage could warrant a B+. Too much Rolling Stone ish grading on a curve apparently.

Richard Hell was far more negative. And he was right. That Pilot overall was a disaster.

Both Billions and Vinyl look like epic failures.

She is a lot better in HCF than she was in this episode. They didn't give her much to work with.

Interest level dropping rapidly

Great review. The "Puerile" comment is spot on. What a waste of a great cast this is. The writing is so amateur hour, and it has the same unrealistic stench that Homeland did. Typical of Showtime to take a good, possibly great idea and dumb it down to the LCD. I am not sure i can stick with this show if this is

yes, it is totally fake. All the reactions, the decision making process, the pithy comments are all done so that narcissists can get on TV.

Open concept is the most overrated term in real estate. having your family room close to the kitchen is a good idea, so the person cooking isn't walled off from conversations or unable to see what someone may be doing (like kids). But too much of a good thing is really a bad idea. Separation isn't always a

I always knew the show was fake, but I had no idea it was that fake. That garbage is far worse than House Hunters. I will watch a lot of shows to keep the peace, but that is not one of them. But I would pay to see the realtor trip when he does his stupid walk to the camera routine on every show.

I am sure this is in the comments 25 times, but the article dances around the reality that House Hunters is basically fake and 99 times out 100 you can guess which house they are going to buy simply by looking for the one with no furniture. HGTV has gotten a bit smarter about it lately but you still know that all the

Fair question. In my case, I wanted to see how the season ended and it was only another 1:40 minute investment and was on demand. That evening I had the house to myself and just got it over with. Sometimes one can make a rash decision and give up on a show too early. In this case, as soon as it finished, I

The lawyers I know are very smart people compared to the general public. Perhaps I should have added that for context.

Ugh. I want my twenty hours back :)

To see that the entire murder sub-plot is so flimsy is incredibly disappointing. It doesn't take a lawyer or even a very smart person to recognize that this was an accident and not a murder. If they had just called the Police that night, I can see Mcnutty taking the wrap for Helen (he owes her that) but clearly no

To me the point is that while we think the world is a pretty awful place right now, and likely getting worse, it probably always has been. Albeit without a lot less technology or modern convenience.

Interesting take, but the notion of dancing in a strip club as an act of empowerment just does not resonate with me. I cannot buy that. But I think that may be what they are after.

I found the bro-sis thing over the top. Not that this couldn't happen, but just in the context of how she basically ordered the face kicking beat down on him, and now she does a complete 180.

After watching Episode 6, I just went straight to 7 and 8 to get this mess over with. It went from interesting to frustrating to hate watching pretty quickly.

I was going to say Rectify myself. Shocked no one else but Mr Smiley listed it.

Never considered a lightning strike. You probably could write for the show as that is very good. I wish they would consider going down this path..investigate Cole just when his life is starting to look up. And yeah, it has always concerned me how people get out of burning buildings. Hopefully I never have to find
