I thoroughly disagree on the speed piece, I find the ergonomics of the brush let me blast through dishes much quicker than a sponge ever did.

True story, the brush does a better job of cleaning almost anything over a sponge. Sponge has a little better leverage when you’ve got really stuck on crap, but the ergonomics of the brush make the process so much faster. Not to mention impossible-to-clean-with-a-sponge stuff like a blender canister is child’s play

Are you a sponge person a brush person? I used to go with the sponge out of habit and just years of whatever, but I recently started using a bottle brush we have for breastfeeding cleanup purpose and does it ever speed up the process.

You should try the Lilypad variation of this: equal parts gin, violette, cointreau, lemon.
