The best Blazers are the '74-'79 full top ones (the whole roof comes off, not just behind the cab). Unfortunately those are the hardest to find :(

Yeah it doesn't exactly belong on the Jalopnik front page. There's alot of Reddit AMA's, and I daresay there's been more interesting ones.
It's a hard thing nowadays, finding a Blazer in decent condition. Most of the time they're either rusted to hell or beat up by some redneck.
Good god, now I need an exorcism.
Wow, the interior has not changed at all. I was looking at a 2005 V50 wagon the other day and I think the dashboard/interior setup was pretty much identical. Still, it reminds me of a hot Swedish blonde.
I'm currently shopping for a used Volvo V50 wagon, and I recently test drove an '05 V50. It wasn't the turbo, but it was still pretty damn quick. I'm holding out for a turbo V50 T5 but so far there hasn't been much in my area. It's a great car and I would defenitely consider going for one over an Audi A4 or a BMW…
Couldn't have said it better.
At the end of the day, it's all about what you've got under the hood. Like the article said, part of the reason for Fisker's failure was their preference for style over mechanical quality.
I strongly agree, I do not ever plan on leasing a car.
Just the other day I almost got ran over at a sidewalk crossing by an older gent that could barely see over the dashboard of his HHR....scary.
