This is the answer. I live and street park in downtown DC (Dupont Circle) and you will be thankful for something easy to park.

As a fellow DC resident who street parks near Dupont Circle and commutes out to Baltimore 5 days a week, you don’t want a one of these big vehicles for your first car. Get a small Honda Fit and wait for the nicer car until you’re more comfortable with the commute/ parallel parking.

My wife is an anxious driver but loves our 2015 Golf TDI. For some reason she doesn’t have panic issues while driving it like she did in many of our older cars.
