Being one of the kickbackers for this game, I played the beta a few months ago, and tried a bit of the final product some weeks ago. With that said, there are some things I agree and disagree the review.

I think the problem here is that you're reviewing this as a new Larry title, and it is not. It is an update of the original game which has quite dated jokes and situations that people not fondly remembering the game may either cringe or feel nothing for. Seconded. It's one reason why I'm choosing to buy it over the PS4 later this year. Putting aside all the other controversies for a moment, the simple truth is that the XB1 (that's what I'm calling it) offers more functionality. It isn't JUST a game machine anymore and there's more than JUST me in my household.

I'm just thrilled I'll have one less input on my a/v receiver in use. Since I can plug my Tivo into my Xb1 into the receiver...2 gadgets, 1 receiver. Sounds sexy, no?
