You know what's cost-prohibitive for television animation compared to digital animation (not all digital animation is Flash…)? "Hand-drawn" (while I know what you mean, they're still using their hands…).

*cough* Powerpuff Girls…

The character design looks pretty on point, but they're probably not animating with pencil and ink on cels like they used to.

I'll never forget the Dragon Ball Z episode towards the end of the Cell saga which consists almost entirely of Gohan and Perfect Cell pushing an energy beam back and forth, with the supporting characters commenting on the "action" from the sidelines.

Do you have a link to that? I would love to read that.

All it took for Bendis to (FUCKING FINALLY) finish Scarlet after multiple years-long hiatuses was a premium network TV deal!

Overall quality of the film aside, I thought she owned her role as Tank Girl.

Civil War was a better Spider-Man movie than the Amazing Spider-Man films.

Some of that might have to do with music. I know the PC version of S3&K re-scored a lot of the Brad Buxer(/Michael Jackson) tunes.

No, but I DO hear the drowning music.

I loved playing as Knuckles and, to a lesser extent, Tails in S3&K, so when I found out their 3D levels in SA2B - rather than being Sonic-esque levels but with an emphasis on gliding and flying respectively - were treasure hunt and mecha shoot-em-up gameplay styles…I was very confused.

There's actually something of a timing element too in Super Mario Maker, at least in the original Super Mario Bros skin. I made a level that can only be passed if you bounce on enemies and trampolines with perfect timing…my friends hate it.

Fun fact: The E3 build and the Windy Valley demo were apparently actually MORE stable builds than the game that actually released.

I've always felt the adults were the wrong ones in Dahl's books.

Shrek 2 is good (arguably better than the original) but anything after that is unacceptable.

I had no idea the first was an Adam Sandler movie going in. Most of it was bearable, and I enjoyed it more than I probably would have with that prejudice, but that "Zing" song at the end was just AWFUL. Reeked of trying to ape the Shrek singalong endings in the absolute worst way.

I had no idea that was Posehn as Sour Cream!
