Except for Bangladeshi workers. They'd love some code enforcement.

It would be really interesting (profitable? probably not), if Nissan had an honest pricing strategy on the truck. Meaning unbundle the diesel from options, and lay out that it just costs more to have it. Saying that the regular engine/emissions is ~3,800 and the new diesel costs $7,500(made-up numbers) letting the

Uh, they wouldn't be using teams for regular service. More like when some obscure computer fails and they have to disassemble the dash to get to it. (happened to my old Jetta TDi, literally spent all day in the shop because on guy was just plugging away at it.)

H2 is split off of natural gas in a complex process. Yes, you can make it using only Electricity and H2O but that is extremely cost prohibitive and inefficient process. Compare that to just using that electricity to charge and drive a car. Where I live, WA, most of the power comes from Hydro and Wind, thus very low

For everyday use, yes. 140-175hp 4cyl is perfect in a regular car(2900-3500lb). Problem is everyone want's their camry to be a rally car too, and also a 5ton SUV. Thus we end up with 250hp V6s that you are never going to use day to day running to the mall.

"Introducing the new Porsche Cayman LMP1 RS " How much would that engine cost? 100K?

Would never sell, unless it got a 6 inch lift and plastic body panels, and an SUV name. Nissan Maxi ? Nissan Mega? Nissan Hugo ?

Neutral:

People who want a cheap "new" car. For a large part of the public there is some esteem or pride involved in buying a new car vs. used. Even when the used car would be cheaper and better to drive.

It's akin to saying, "Yeah I LOVE my blackberry, get away weirdo with that useless iPhone" -circa 2007.

True, true. They weren't using logic in the recommendation section. They were using the emotions one develops after so many problems. Classic anecdotal evidence being given too much significance.

I wonder, if the motor problems weren't egged on by the "GTR-syndrome" the Model S brings on. Constantly wanting to do hard, silent, launches to impress friends or yourself. Remember when the GTR was grenading transmissions due to launches? Might be similar. Doesn't make it right, should work like a 911... launch all

There's been a plethora of chatter on the Telsa forums about the 21's wearing oddly. As if the suspension would prefer the 19's. And much back and forth about, how the 21's are basically a high-end performance tire and the owners are expecting it to perform like a regular luxury tire. Not like a tire fitted to a

That was the point the original poster was making. that those 22/28 issues are due to it being a totally new platform/factory/design. Not to mention all of the subsystems that had to be built and integrated from the ground up, at a time when most automotive suppliers where doubtful the Model S would ever sell near 20K

Internal Combustion Engine, or ICE for short.

It's the perfect car for Elon to drive to SpaceX launches... just sayin'.

Ford explorer with GT500 heart... oh yuuuus.

meh.

It must be interesting to be you. Aimlessly clicking around the web, yelling obscenities to all that will listen.

Wow, I really like this well reasoned take-down. Buhahaha.
