I would have said that a Science Fiction story is based on the conjectural speculation of possible future/past scenarios rooted in science, and Fantasy is a story that doesn’t require logical science based underpinnings.

I have to say that this sounds really dull; I’d rather see his Locke and Key show because at least that looked interesting.

I’m pretty sure Isaac was the town Marshal not the town Sheriff though I don’t really know what the difference is; also this was an episode that featured recollections about the Doctor from people who had seen him in voiceovers like the episode the three children saw him depart to supposedly die.

You could be right because it looks like a suit you put on rather than a cyborg body; also it could be Michael Jackson cameo like the Elvis body from the 2nd film? One glove and all.

“Let’s count all the times you are going to get pointlessly naked, one! ha ha ha, two! ha ha ha, three! ha ha ha…”

Firefly cancelled = Fox dumbass

If you look at a film like Avatar which had a reported advertising budget of $150 million then a crowed funded film with an almost zero advertising budget is obviously not going to get the same exposure in the market.

The effects were better than the first and most of the acting was better but overall it was a terrible film with a lacklustre story.

Bull Sharks are number three although statistically there is little difference between them and Tiger Sharks and misidentification probably means they are interchangeable.

Now playing

While Tiger Sharks are only second after Great Whites for attacking Humans like all shark attacks it’s usually a case of mistaken identity; with such a tasty piece of food like a whale carcass around they would probably ignore anything else going on.

Indiana Jones and the Prostate of Doom!

Three still shots?

And you would be right; I found a Gizmodo story that lists the prices from 2007.

Not what I meant; I understand the problem is complex and wasn’t ignoring the hard truths but simply saying the "solution" is for the human race to stop reproducing and move to cities as well as moving away from a consumer economy is totally unrealistic because it isn’t going to happen.

It isn’t just you; it never fails to surprise me that these scientists’ only solution seems to consist of things the human race is totally incapable or unwilling to do.

If you read between the lines this is less about creationism verses evolution and more about education verses religion.

I’m a believer!

I have always thought that Blade Runner more than any other Sci-Fi film of its time had a real sense of depth and detail in every shot, there is a definitive foreground, middle ground and background filled with things to draw the eye that helped create this dystopian future and give it life.

Nature is often cruel and sometimes senseless, watch any animal documentary and you’ll see much worse.

"It bears repeating that Fox's devotion to Fringe, a show that's been losing a fair amount of money, is really extraordinary, and a sign that Kevin Reilly or someone over there really does love the notion of a quirky show about weird science."
