‘WHY WON’T THE NON-DEMOCRATS COMMIT TO UNCONDITIONALLY BACKING ANY DEMOCRAT, NO MATTER HOW SHITTY THEY ACTUALLY ARE?’

I’m not a DSA person but let’s be accurate: they didn’t say that at all. They said they won’t endorse another Democratic candidate on an organizational level, which is very different and also makes sense — individual DSA members are still free to support and organize for whomever they choose. They’re a self-described s

I think it’s a particularly stupid American idea that everyone needs to waste their money on housing in order to prove their worth as good little capitalists. That I have to be defensive and have an excuse for it to be OK for me to live with my mom is absurd. I would live with my mom even if I didn’t have this mental

I really really thought we’d put all that “living with your parents is super lame” thing behind us already. There are so many valid reasons why people choose to live with their parents!

I said this in a comment that will probably say in the grays because Dirt Bag is no longer that fun and therefore is less popular, but I live with my mom because (like Pete) I have a serious, chronic mental illness. I am also employed and we share living expenses. But no one cares about me as much as my mom does, and

He also bought the house for his mom. The frequency of his jokes involving his mom are pretty solid evidence that they’re very close. I know that if I were single and bouncing from woman to woman in my mid-twenties, recovering from addiction, fighting crippling depression and Crohn’s Disease, I’d probably go live with

Plus it certainly sounds like a little stability could help him after his roller coaster of a last two years - addiction treatment, mental health issues, constant reporting on his romantic life.

Should I point out that Pete has a serious mental illness, and that living with a parent is maybe not the worst/most pathetic idea for an employed, single adult who struggles with suicidal ideation and other self-harm issues? No? We’re going to continue making fun of everything this person does, even though he’s

So what? Maybe he likes his mom? Maybe she keeps him grounded. I truly think that people who haven’t lost a parent can’t understand how much that experience makes you value the one you have left.

This is just another example of how the DLC-branch of the institutional Democratic Party was defeated by time, and the ground shifting beneath their feet. Because this:

DINOs fuck off forever. No more clinton or obama clones or asshole centrist third way acolytes.

I’m sure his desire to work with insurer is in no way related to the incredible coincidence that one of America’s largest managed care companies, Anthem Blue Cross, is headquartered in Indianapolis.

Democrats need to start leading the demographics instead of following. Take the fight to places with lots of young, under-registered, and mobile populations (see Abrams, Gillum, Beto). Plan for two or three ele tion cycles and plan on making changes to the local electoral structures.

And yet, the other East teams that played the Cavs last year–the Pacers and the Without Our Two Best Guys Celtics–looked so, so much more competitive.

Pacers are sad as hell you didn’t even mention them :(

I think a more valid statement might be “...a statement battle between two of the let’s say 3rd-5th best teams in the East.”

Im not afraid of Ben Simmons either. But you know who I am afraid of? Kevin fucking spacey. Jesus that video still creeps me out.

This is potentially to be read as criticism of Brett Brown’s gameplan

She should’ve retired at the beginning of Obama’s second term. The judicial course of an entire nation rests on an 85 yr old to hold out 2-6 more years.

Even if it is just posted to make himself look good, it shows that he knows what being a good dad actually is, which is more than you can say for most people.
