    Image insert not working...

Chop it up and stick it in individual ziplock bags and freeze. Many stews, soups and stock use celery and you can add straight from the freezer.

Depends on type and quanity- if there’s enough, it comes into work with me the next day as lunch. If it’s bread/rice/pasta, it gets given to the birds. Everything else goes in the dogs.

Don’t weekly (or longer) shop, buy up fresh ingredients every couple of days. That allows you to focus on what you are going to cook in the next 1 to 2 days and makes sure you are not using week old (or longer) “fresh” ingredients. Also, pickle, macerate, cure, ferment, smoke- use all the food preservation techniques.

I don’t understand- you say that Netflix are going to air the show. And then you say they’ve dropped it.

I think I prefer the new Bake Off to the previous incarnation. The only gripe is the fucking adverts.

The problem here is what the US refers to as “bacon” is always the streaky variety. What you need is a good rasher...

The problem is that the US does not follow the Precautionary Principle which means that meat such as pork has to be well cooked in order to avoid food poisoning.

How to tell which Kitchen Nightmares you are watching:

No, you are not the dog’s “mom”- you aren’t even the same species...

As much as Ride Of The Valkyries is synonymous with Apocalypse Now, I’m afraid everytime I hear it, I hear “I have always loved you”...

Ahh, Air’s Moon Safari- the soundtrack to my engagement...

Also appears in an epsiode of Dad’s Army when Captain Mainwaring introduces a US Lieutenant to the style...

Junk food yes; fast food no (the two are different things)
