    I think the main problem with a lot of vegan food is that it is severely lacking in flavour- I wish a lot of restaurants who look at Indian vegan food and try replicating some of that I have no problem eating sag aloo or tarka dahl- I do have problems with raw vegetables which seems to be all most vegan restaurants

    In related news, the final series of The Bridge hits BBC2 on the 11th of May.

    I would love them to have a round where the contestants compete to make their arses look the prettiest (makeup; bjazelling etc). And they should call it Ready Gayer Bum..

    He does care about the business and goes out of his way to help failing restaurateurs. But he does not suffer fools and will have a go if he thinks that they are not taking him seriously; or worse, think they know better than him.

    They’re worse for the environment. More water is used in the growing and production of soy than any animal reared...

    I had beef heart for the first time recently and it was incredible. I grew up with black (and white) puddings. And liver and kidneys are soooo tasty. Got my youngest daughter into eating chicken hearts too....

    You do understand that same filth is used to fertilize the fields that vegetables grow in, don’t you?

    There’s a new term: “Ultra Processed” which is now being used to describe food that is both processed and unhealthy. It was created in response to people pointing out that traditional foodstuffs that were “processed”.

    There’s also been studies showing a lowered IQ in people on plant only based diets. And it’s possibly linked to early onset dementia.

    Steamed puddings a.k.a suet puddings are the dogs bollocks- both sweet (jam roly poly, Surrey Pond pudding) and savoury (steak and kidney puddings).

    You need to push for the “Tipped Wage” to be abolished and replaced with a Living Wage. Once servers are being paid fairly, it becomes less of a issue on how much you tip (or if at all). It’s generally the way it works outside of the US, except in certain countries (like Japan) were a tip would be considered offensive.

    Seafood for me also but only after getting food poisoning from it (3 times).

    But 8 minutes is still “fast food” to me. And food made in the microwave is always what I imagined misery to taste like, if it had a flavour...

    Sorry, it’s always steak first, then chicken, then burger, hot dog (if you have room).
