Interesting how the author completely ignores the fact that the shows only black characters didn’t have a scene with each other either...

So “incel” is just another term for what we used to call “unfuckable”?

Also, the people screaming for “strong female characters” always convieniently forget the ones that already exist...

I find it amusing when someone inevitably says something about a “period of healing” after these gun slayings. There is no period of healing, just a brief respite between atrocities...

Cool, no more spoilers on AV Club...

“We are the Warriors Three (seconds of screen time)...”

I manged to see Terminator 2 on opening day without seeing any reviews (ah, the days before the internet got crowded) so the Arnie reveal was a complete surprise. And this was back in the days when movies showed in the states around 6 months before anywhere else- I was on holiday in NJ at the time...

“Whoops, Supergirl accidentally started a cult”

In the UK/Ireland it was only 10p to play (as was all video games at that point) as it was released right before the great rip off, where games would cost 50p or even €1 (I remember the Outrun sit-in cabinets being one of the first). I never finished Dragon’s Lair (I did finish Super Don Quixote) but I did get to

JW was too busy getting aroused by watching a little ninja girly beat up big muscley men...

It’s revealed early in the film (which makes her and Thor’s sex scene, later in the movie, extremely cringeworthy; but I understand it’s a callback to Leia kissing Luke in TESB)

...and a very obviously missing Lady Sif...
