I mean if you think about it, just about everything made after 2010 will be a nightmare as far as overcomplexity and electrical nightmarishness goes with maintenance.

Oh yes I like those. However, in my own humble opinion, you can't beat the good old fashioned rugged durability and simple good look of steelies on a truck.

But.....the Inline 6 has room for more main bearings. Not to mention the inherently balanced design so less harmonic dampening necessary. Plus a failed crank is not a common issue in previous generations of aftermarket turbo BMW sixes.

You could also say it sounds the same as a Ferrari 458 as he never really went over 2k RPM's. Anything under 5.0 liters is pretty indistinct at lower RPM's from any kind of distance at low throttle.
