Speculation? You don't actually have any reason to believe that this information aside from what happens in the book, the lack of an exposition scene that has someone informing everyone and speculation (that goes against every indication in the scene).

Yea, my family is lousy with architects and it nowhere as glamorous as the movies make it seem. I had to watch this without subtitles recently, as the people screening it had forgotten to turn them on I guess. This was after a screening on Nosferatu with live accompaniment, which would have been the main priority, and half the audience with the organizers had left.

Seen some of Jeselniks stuff for the first time just now on youtube but he'd have to be one of the funniest comedians on Doug Loves Movies podcast. You'd probably have to appreciate his off-the-cuff wit even if you don't like his kind of standup pacing or whatever.
