I’m not really sure it was Bethesda’s treatment of Kotaku that begat this reaction, though. I mean, it’s possible there’s a bit of an axe to grind here, but plenty of folks who played the game independent of having read Kotaku’s coverage (myself included) found the game to be decidedly, “meh.”

It’s not a bad game. It’s

This comment does not acknowledge all the good shit Bethesda does, while emphasizing and even exaggerating the bad they have a rep for.

The Bethesda games are often more about falling in love with the setting and the universe. Not so much with falling in love with the characters, though.

I bet this is to get 100% over the Ip, they cant pay whats owed, give us back the ip.

...I’m sorry, I don’t get how fast and reliable internet connections are bad for legal services like Steam but somehow not bad for pirating games, which last time I checked still requires that you download them.

And considering how often games fail to sell as well enough to be profitable, exactly how would it benefit consumers to resell digital PC games when companies would no longer have financial incentive to continue producing PC games?

If a game sells 400k copies, there isn’t an infinite amount of resale, there’s 400k copies that can be resold.

You realize that option is in the Options menu in the Fallout 4 splash screen, right?

And you can continue being an idiot.

Fucking idiot.

People like you actually comment here? I think I just threw up in MY mouth, a little.

You do realize what Gamergate was right? It was thousands of sexist assholes that doxxed her, sent her death threats, and made her life a living hell all because her asshole ex-boyfriend posted libel about her. Go fuck yourself.

You should comment less.

wait, hasn’t the world already decided that Chris Brown is a piece of shit?

They’re not a monopoly. You can buy games on Origin, uPlay, Greenman Gaming, GoG, Amazon, Humble Store.. A monopoly would be only Steam having the games, no other place at all. Ever since Valve forced Canadians to pay in Canadian funds, I don’t remember the last time I bought a game from them, simply because they’re

It’s still not a monoploy. You can buy PC games in from other places and GOG is a thing as well. They hold a large market share, yes. But it’s not a monopoly. They don’t hold the PC market to themselves only.

Because they asked the players and the players asked for this (was a stretch goal).
