I would also class DeusEx:HR a good Squeenix published title too (especially now they fixed the boss battles complaint) though that's not quite as recent. I am not sure I could class Thief as a good one...it had too many flaws but I am hoping that Thief was an exception quality wise.

There should be it looks great. Interesting protagonist, good visuals and very interesting plot. It's published by Squeenix though which is why not as high a hype as would expect for it. Squeenix have nasty habit of sneaking games out, not much investment in marketing even if they are good games.

Pre-ordered Murdered Soul Suspect for £13, I think would be worth full price based on what seen before but I am a sucker for sales/discounts. No other game on the above list interests me. Enemy Front seems way too similar to Bad Company for my liking.

I miss the old Atari, Commodore, Spectrum and Amstrad adverts and infomercials from back then...at the time I did not find them cheesy (I was in my early teens) but in retrospect I guess they were. Even if cheesy though they are more entertaining than the type of ones we get now. Adverts got lame in the past decade.

No, your missing the point. Even before these studios were bought by EA they were still making mostly crap games but people ignore that fact just because they made one or two good ones amongst all that crap. Most of those 'loved' studios which is really only loved for one or maybe couple games out of a history of crap

We will see, time will tell.

That's a naive point of view. Some of those studios were beginning to struggle even Mythic the most recent closure said such. The reality is many of them would of shut down a decade ago on their own without EA funding them.

I have no intention of repeating myself anymore on this though since already talked about it like a day ago in another article but I mentioned why I do not consider them anywhere near as bad as they used to be in this article. I posted multiple replies in that article so just scroll down to read more of things I said

My predictions of what will happen, first the Rift will come with a Facebook client requirement because they said themselves they wont be making any money back through hardware and they said they plan to make their money back through advertising and becoming a 'service' for the device. This means will either be a

I think there is a difference, most of the hate towards EA is based on how they were in the past when get down to the bottom of it with most who complain about them. It's a hate that for the most part lingered despite some positive changes from EA in past couple years as people dwell on the past to fuel that hate.

"King.com, makers of Candy Crush Saga, which sought to raise $7 billion in March. King's share price dropped almost immediately from its $22.50 debut; it closed at $16.20 yesterday." Halleluiah! Sooner they go out of business the better but unfortunately such a share price drop is no where near enough to finish them

I don't think F2P needs to die since some people like it and some people hate it but more importantly not every game is F2P or will go F2P so I consider there room in the industry for both business models...but I do hope KING go out of business which is rare for me to say because generally I take the side of the

Cosplay to me is about bringing fictional characters to 'life', imitation in the real world by real people and hence why must past the test of what look like in the picture must be able to be replicated in real life person to person for me to care about it which Photoshopped images more often than not cannot be.

This is what I like to see, non-Photoshopped cosplay where the talent is in the creation of costumes, expressing the mannerisms, how much you resemble the character you wish to portray in the flesh aka in person and not how good your Photoshop skills are. If cannot look like did in the pictures when in real life,

The game won't teach people to hack but it can inspire people to delve deeper into learning about hacking. Cigarette adverts never forced people to smoke but it got people interested in trying it back in the old days. However the game should not be banned or censored anymore so than GTA which robbing, killing and

Season Pass is as you said a pre-order process normally. Basically where you pre-order a 'seasons' worth of DLC which is generally between 3-5 DLC's. Sometimes they tell you up front how many DLC's will cover and sometimes what the name of the DLC's might be though could be subject to change...however a lot of the

...and just to add one more thing, those developers who charge higher in Early Access than retail release prices are disgusting to me. It is NOT a privilege to buy alpha or beta versions of games, they are helping you the developer a) financially continue development b) bug, mechanic, story and glitch testing you

To me Early Access I treat similar to Kickstarter in that I use it to support projects that look promising and put my money where my mouth is. I know that the game is not finished, I know it is still in development and I do not even play the games I purchase on Early Access for the most part until they are finished

The employee's jobs are less at risk when taken over by a publisher compared to remaining indie especially with Mythic's poor quality list of games prior to being purchased. It is also worth noting even if remained indie the people at the top still make the decisions whether that's the owners of Mythic or the owners
