It has a huge amount to do with every single film. The storyline or plot of the films are not the only thing that links them together, the characters, the locations, the lore is linked. It takes a very narrow mindedness to say they have nothing to with with each other.

Good movie and good game.

It is a tie-in to all Batman movies, comics and everything else Batman related. The tie-in relates to the protagonist and inhabiting the same world as the comics and movies, even if it does not follow every single ounce of lore pertaining to either.

Discworld flashback. Also One Piece had giant turtle with island on it's back. Seems a popular combination.

Pass.

I never said had to be in everything. That is an assumption the person who replied to me made. I said I would want to experience this specific game using VR, not every game.

Apart from the childish insult in your first sentence followed by the equally childish insult in your final one, you seems to be making quite the assumption that 'it can't work for me on a screen' which was not implied or stated by me. It would work just fine on screen but just fine is not how I would personally want

As much as I am interested in this expansion, in no way at all do I think it is worth it's current price which is around £25 ($40) retail and £32 ($53) digital here...in fact it pisses me off a bit they are charging much more for the digital version despite digital not incurring even close to the level of retail costs

I will wait until a commercial VR unit for PC comes out and this games has adequate VR support even if that support comes from a 3rd party. Yes, I know will be quite a long wait.

Have you tried one yourself? I think would be interesting to see if retain your negativity towards it afterwards if you have not. I wonder if this is a situation more like not trying out a meal because might look yucky but once tried it you might enjoy it.

...and no the answer is not clutter my home up with dozens of consoles just because there may be one game a decade later that might interest me. My preferred option is they do away with the lifetime and IP restrictive exclusivity contracts and if push came to shove just switch to timed exclusives instead if the tiny

I do not see how I am a PC elitist just because that is my current preferred platform (keyword "current"). I have owned a PS1 and PS2 even a Ps3 in the past but I have since sold it years ago. I have also owned most consoles ever made at some point but like with the PS3 I do not have room to store dozens of consoles

Well it might be worth 2million but they only got 4oomillion. The remaining 1.6billion is linked to the success of Facebook itself not to the success of Oculus as they are Facebook shares. Another potential 200million can be gained by them if they hit Facebook's milestones for the product over the coming years.

One thing Palmer has said is it won't come to market faster even after the acquisition. Easier for the developers maybe, but faster no.

Curious as to why everything except specifically Fallout 3...seems odd to exclude that one title.

While I think he had something to do with Unreal long ago? Also is involved with Oculus in some way? As in I know he is making some money off it's sale to Facebook, other than that I don't think he has done much that springs to mind but then again maybe what he does is not related to my gaming genres of choice.

Until the licensing fee appears and the number of indies drops which this is just my opinion but I suspect will at some point given MZ said he is not going to make money off the hardware which only leaves licensing or a software requirement to data mine user data for selling to it's partners or for pushing

Agreed, I fully support any multi-platform studios bringing their titles to as many people as possible and see nothing wrong with trying to do so. He was actually at least smart enough to not sell his company to Sony or Microsoft in order to further his business, letting it grow to the behemoth it has become much like

Not sure what point your trying to make unless your claiming he had exclusivity contracts with them that he broke because outside of that it's just two investors who never tied him down to a contract as they wanted to help fund his project and help integrate it into their platforms.
