A quick google search showed it can be downloaded still and ran through hacked 360's. I am not saying it's right to download ROM versions of games no longer for sale but I am just pointing out that it is possible to obtain the game you gave as an example digitally still.

DLC will be as it has always been, as the name suggests 'downloadable content'. The only difference I see is as the console platforms become more digital orientated the download services should improve.

If your family members were the ones killed by this person would you be as inclined to let him have a new games console? Would yo be so willing to give him a better quality of life than already has or ask to give him more human rights? Again it's easy to defend a system when your not effected by it.

King.com are becoming the most despised game publisher on the planet far surpassing any hatred of EA, Ubisoft or any other.

There is also a kickstarter for Book of Unwritten Tales 2 at the moment which could use some exposure. It's not a case of funding the game to be made from scratch though, it's like Divinity Original Sin in that they are asking for money to make the game better than without the extra funding.
