Yeah but Miller wasn't full on Miller at those periods of time. He was still up and coming and finding his voice so he did have a foyer on so to speak. Once sin city came out though it started to go downhill. I retread sin city just to look at the art.

That's why I love Jupiters Legacy. It doesn't come out all the time but Quitelys art is gorgeous each issue

Anything by Gaspar Noe or Rian Johnson. Enter the Void and Looper are two of my favorite movies of all time and not even hearing what they are doing next is so frustrating.
