@Face Imploder: My old Marketing teacher used to have a little package that contained five grand in shredded bills. I've seen 'em at novelty stores and (funnily enough) airports.

@hooger158: Yeah sure. As long as its hooked up and you have it enabled in the BIOS, it should mount just fine.

@Stephen Rice: I'm just speaking from the experience I have had. If you don't trust me, don't take my advice and ask a lawyer to look it over for ya. I only speak from reading the EULA and from the very casual response I got from an Apple Expert (thats the actual job title). Thats the reason I kept saying stuff like

To those questioning the legality of this, I am by no means a lawyer, but here's my opinion.

@mjollnir11: Because all Apple computers ship with OS X, everything is basically an upgrade. The $29 disc was meant for Leopard users. Tiger users were supposed to buy the box set including iLife, and costs significantly more. The upgrade disc does everything the "Full disc" does, it just costs less. Sure, you break

@douglobue: Simple. I needed OS X, I did not have $1200. I did, however, have $80 for a new hard drive and a couple free weekends.

@Loi-B: The P4 won't be very good with the default kernel. You'll most likely need to use an alternative one. Not so sure about the GPU either.

@Ian Logsdon: If you want it, just buy the friggen thing, then sell it using a service or on craigslist to buy the new one.

I love the arrow in each shot. Like it's saying "Look here dumbshit!"

@Ignignokt: It actually wouldn't work half bad, considering.

Someone kept it right?

So close. If this would have been published four posts sooner, it would have been article number 5659980, which adds up to 42.

@Dave J.: he had a BASE parachute on just in case, I think. You can see it when he rolls off the airbag.

@The Lab: a contest offering you the chance to win a portrait by Gizmodo artist Sam Spratt […]

Could it be???

@Settings: General lubricant and sealer, starting fires, I don't see it used often really.

@Settings: In the United States, what he says is true.
